Caffi Hen Blas Cafe sits quietly in the heart of Aberdaron, offering a cozy spot to recharge after a stroll along the nearby beach or explorations of this seaside village. It’s the kind of café where the friendly welcome feels genuine, from the staff who are ready to chat about the local wildlife seen through the window to those quick, freshly made coffees that kickstart your day.

The atmosphere leans towards relaxed and unpretentious, with an emphasis on fresh, home-cooked food that doesn’t overcomplicate things. This is a place where you can drop in any time, whether for a mid-morning coffee and slice of cake or a light, well-flavored lunch. Locals and visitors alike appreciate the straightforward but varied menu options, including some distinctive choices like their minted lamb burger, which stands out as a satisfying alternative to typical café fare.

Outdoor seating by a small stream offers a peaceful spot to enjoy your drink or bite, especially when the weather allows for a slower pace. The space encourages lingering, helped by the quiet views and a sense that the staff are genuinely invested in making your visit comfortable—even if that means welcoming a sandy dog or a rambunctious child just before closing time.

This café is best experienced during daylight hours when you can take advantage of the light-filled interior or the streamside seating. It suits those who enjoy casual, local spots where quality coffee goes hand in hand with friendly service and uncomplicated but well-executed food. If you’re passing through Aberdaron or settling in for a quiet moment, Caffi Hen Blas offers a grounded and authentic taste of the village’s slower rhythms.

What a lovely place. Staff were welcoming and eager to please. Food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. We had the minted lamb burger and chips. Very tasty. Would highly recommend. We tried the place opposite but inside was gloomy and menu was all about cheese. This had a much better selection and the whole thing was a very pleasant experience.

A charming little cafe in this lovely little seaside village. We arrived almost at closing time but the staff made us feel very welcome even with our sandy dog and child! The coffee and cake were lovely and it really made our whole visit to Aberdaron.

We popped in for a cuppa but couldn't resist trying the coffee cake and a cream scone. Both were lovely. The 2 ladies serving ( apologies but never caught your names) were really friendly and told us all about the wildlife in the stream outside where we sat. Brilliant relaxing time; tasty fresh baking and customer service second to none.

As I walked in the cafe was just opening. Greeted with a smile , had a lovely chat and was made 2 lovely lattes . A nice cup of coffee indeed and a lovely beach just outside and through the car park. If you like a decent cup of real bean to cup coffee I highly recommend this place.

The coffee and cake were lovely after a 10 mile hike around the coast.

Brilliant little cafe...as much tea as we could drink and three of us had the Celtica burgers with chips and salad. All delicious and a hearty portion. The ladies who worked there were friendly and chatty and looked after us really well. A nice relaxing lunch by the riverside followed by a walk round beach, church and secret nuclear bunker. We returned for another cup of tea and cake and it was just as nice the second time.
